We are aware that the following extensions/add-ons and internet security programs can cause interferences with deviantART. If you should have any of the below we recommend that you try disabling them to see if it is causing the problem you are experiencing. Please note that these are only the extensions we are aware have caused problems or are still causing problems. There is no way to know every single extension that may cause interference so please provide a full list of all of your extensions when asked for in a Help Desk ticket.

Known to cause several issues including but not limited to the following:

• Prevents Messages from being removed from Message Centre
• Causes Deviations to not load while browsing
• Unable to click on the upper right hand deviation in a gallery page
• Missing buttons

Known to cause several issues mostly with profile page layouts.

Featured Deviation display issue

Featured Deviation display issue and overlapping journal thumbs

Cookiepie

Known to cause problems with deleting message centre notifications.

DataMngr

Known to cause the submission page to simply refresh and wipe all of the previously inputted data when trying to submit deviations.

Known to cause the issue below.

 

Flashblock

Known to cause several issues similar to Adblock Plus.

NoScript

Known to cause a forbidden error when attempting to upload/update journals.

Skype Extension

Known to cause several issues with the gallery and favourite gallery editing systems

 

HTTPS Everywhere

Known to cause "Mixed HTTP//HTTPS" errors due to forcing all pages and content of our website to be served over HTTPS when in fact we currently do not support that.

 

Do Not Track Plus

Known to break functionality on Deviation pages and Message Center.

 

dAmmGotMail-Automatic Inbox Checker

Known to cause conflicts with cookies causing invalid session cookies. When this issue occurs you are repeatedly told your password is invalid and you will not be able to login. Other extensions can cause this issue and bulk image downloading programs can also cause this problem.

 

Google Chrome

Adblock for Chrome

Known to cause the message centre to not load as well as cause thumbnails to not load in journals, news articles,  notes, dAmn, and the Thumbshare Forum.

 

Autocomplete Pro

Causes the same issues in Chrome as it does in Firefox.

Premiumplay Codec-c

Known to cause severe functionality issues in the Message Center and displays on profiles.

 

Do Not Track Plus

Known to break functionality on Deviation pages and Message Center.

Some programs can cause problems such as ones with adblocking capabilities.

Kaspersky

The Adblock feature of Kaspersky is known to cause several problems. If you should experience any of the following we suggest you try disabling the Adblock portion of this program only. The issues include but not limited to the following:

• Loading Issues with the Browse and Search
• Gallery/Favourite Gallery thumbs to not display after page 1

Avast

Webshield known to cause empty galleries

Admuncher

Known to cause several issues such as loading problems especially with Javascript related features.

deviantART Gallery Ripper

This unofficial third-party program is known to cause conflicts with your login cookies which can prohibit you from being able to login to the website. Please use discretion when making use of third party applications as not all of these products use our API and might not function without error and some may affect the useability of your account
