I was asked by an administrator in the Help Desk to supply a link to my image, comment, forum thread, etc. How do I include a link in my reply?

Links to specific comments
Visit the page where the comment is located and find the time stamp showing when the comment was made. Simply right click the time stamp and select 'Copy Link' (or similar) from your options. You may also open the comment by clicking on this time stamp and then you may copy the URL from your browser by highlighting the URL and then right clicking on it and selecting 'Copy'. You should then right click where you wish to place this link and select 'Paste' from the options available.

Links to images
Simply view the image in question in another window or tab and copy the address from the address bar, by highlighting the URL and then right clicking on it and selecting 'Copy'. Once you have copied the URL you can right click in your response field and use Paste to add it to your response text. If the image is a deviation you can also look to the right of the deviation where all the details are listed and copy the text in the Link field.

Link to Forum Thread
Simply visit the thread in question in another window or tab and copy the address from the address bar, by highlighting the URL and then right clicking on it and selecting 'Copy'. Once you have copied the URL you can right click in your response field and use Paste to add it to your response text.

The above methods can also be applied to news articles, journals and more.

Please note, the Help Desk cannot accept thumbcodes devcodes, iconcodes, and html links so please use normal URL links only.
